Set in Washington D.C. in the not-so-distant future, OMEGA MEANS RESISTANCE is the story of former mayor Michael Forseti who, in his quest to avenge his family’s murder, comes to realize his true destiny and lead his people to freedom.

Michael Forseti once had it all; a beautiful family, a healthy bank account, and a vibrant career as D.C.’s successful and popular mayor. Our story begins two years later, Michael awakens from a coma to learn his family is dead, his city is in ruins, and America locked in civil unrest. Suffering from the loss of his family and a physical injury, Michael is both emotionally and physically crippled, a shell of his former self. With no hope of life returning to normal, he vows to avenge his family’s death and seek retribution. What begins as a noir revenge tale evolves into a story of political revolution as Michael learns of the government’s role in his family’s death and unites with local citizens bringing the killers to justice and the return of respectability to D.C.

OMEGA MEANS RESISTANCE is best described as Blade Runner meets Defiance, but at the core of the story is a man shattered by the past events of his life, forced to learn to reconnect with the world. By righting the wrongs done to Michael, by exacting his revenge, and by liberating his city and the people he once led, Michael becomes the man he once was; a leader, a father, a hero. OMEGA MEANS RESISTANCE is a story about humanity; that loss will drive a man to do anything, power will corrupt, and, when pushed, people will bond together to fight for what they believe is right.
